MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR:
Thanks for your interest in DeHaven Baptist Church. We are a “new church” in a historic facility, providing a Baptist witness in downtown LaGrange and Oldham County. I have been blessed to serve as pastor since January, 2006.
Let me encourage you to attend one of our Sunday Morning worship services, when we gather to express and celebrate our faith as believers. Also, during this time, we encourage seekers to explore faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. Our goal for worship: everyone leaves serving Jesus Christ as Lord.
Also, you’re invited to attend one of our Sunday morning Bible Study classes, where we have groups for every category and age group. On Wednesdays, we have a fellowship meal, prayer time, Bible Study, and student discipleship & activities. For children, we have BYF (Baptist Youngsters Fellowship), which includes a Bible lesson, fun activities and an occasional movie! All these groups will give you a clearer picture of who we are and will help to build a valuable support group.
I will be thrilled to visit in your home or at the church to share more about the mission of DeHaven. Hopefully, you will visit soon. You’ll certainly be welcomed!
